Nice. Tightly written and the resolution, despite not delivering on the teaser, isn't a let down 'cause it plays to characters strengths and has that classic feel.

For gods sake scitp up some stuff and submit something somewhere; we need good noir/crime writers besides Brubaker working for the big two.

Earl.

Thanks so much for the kind words, Earl. I'm not sure what will come of it, but thanks to your encouragement, I have started working on a new idea in script form. At the worst, I'm sure it will end up here some day.

Yay! Thank you for writing this story, Dan! I really enjoyed the rogues interacting, and the Fox -stupid, dense man. Making it in Gotham is not easy, least of all in such circles.

Still, what I loved the most has to be the end. Harvey/Two Face coming through for the sake of fairness -even if he doesn't want to admit it- was played so much like a game where he didn't care of the result, that I was almost certain he was just doing it for fun. But then...

He rolled over in his bunk and placed his coin down on the edge of the sink.

Good face up.

<3 <3 <3 How could I ever doubt him. He does what he can, like everyone else in Gotham, to contain the demons among them...

How could you indeed!

I'm glad you liked it, Mina. It was fun to write and think about, even if it took me half a year to finish...
