I celebrated Christmas as a kid because of my mom. my dad said we could have a tree and open gifts on Christmas, but no religious teaching. I had Hanukkah, and Passover and all high holidays with a lot of learning and meaning, I just don't care about Christian holidays, do you celebrate Easter? I have always had a strong connection to Judaism, I light Shabbot candles. I love Jewish tradition and holidays and I couldn't care less about a decorated tree that has nothing to do with the meaning of Christmas, Jewish holidays reflect the true meaning and story behind them. Like what do colored eggs have to do with the meaning of Easter? Or bunny rabbits and candy? Nothing it has nothing to do with it. In what Jewish religion have we got a mascot? i.e. Santa Clause, The Easter Bunny. Valentines day makes the most sense, the origen of the holiday ties in with three priests named St. Valentine. One of the men fell in-love with a young woman and sent her a card and signed it "your Valentine". But if you really think about it, Christian Holidays are a total joke. Ask 100 Christian children not attending a religious school what Easter celebrates and I guarantee you that they don't know. All they know is bunnies, candy and painting and hiding eggs. I just had to get that off my chest!! It's all a sham....everyone convert!!
