LIVE FROM THE EDMONTON OUTSKIRTS... IT'S THE DAMONK SHOW!!!
So this is what the life of a travelling salesman must have been like, huh?
Here I am typing away in my budget hotel room in Edmonton, after a long day's work and a few beer at a neighbouring hotel's pub (this hotel has no pub, no restaurant, no SOOOOUUUULLLLL...). Only a day ago, I was in Calgary, waking up in a more posh-like hotel attached to the airport after a late night of writing massive "secret" reports and drinking delicious Big Rock stout (not-so-secret)...
Next week, I'll be in Toronto (and I get to see Zub!), then a quickie afternoon stopover in Winnipeg for more of my "secret" business, and then home... until the week after, where I will find myself waking up in Halifax whether I like it or not.
I have to admit that it's pretty trippy (take that as you will) to travel across the country trying to make the world a safer place and all.
I should be wearing tights and a cape, maybe?
[THOUGHT: I should have warned Joe I was coming to Edmonton... I could have treated him to real person food or something! Ah well. Next time, perhaps...]
