ONLY IN CANADA, FOLKS...
So I walk to my fastball game tonight, and find half my team in a half circle behind the bleachers.
I walk up closer, and discover that there is a television set propped up on two bats, hooked up to a generator, nestled beneath the bleachers (so as not to get hit by a foul ball). The first period of Calgary-TB Game 7 is on.
So of course, I sit down and start cheering with the rest of them.
Throughout the game that night, we have one guy who's sitting out, and who is in charge of giving us all the play-by-play updates.
Our pitcher truly rocks for bringing the set.
Our Canada rocks.
