strange happenings in the la crosse area
*a man claimed to be told by a demon inside a bathroom mirror that his friend's girlfriend was "bogus" for wanting to break up with his friend and that he should kill her. he apparently stepped on her throat to strangle her until she died, then burned her house down. the murderer also told police that they'[d been smoking pot before this happened.
*a dead baby was found in a trash can outside an apartment building on rose street. neighbors said that something stunk outside and the baby was found.. apparently it was already dead before it was thrown away.
*the suspect in a double homicide in sparta was found dead in a creek, apparently he drowned, but rumor has it that he gave the police names of other suspects and he was murdered for it.
*someone's apartment building literally exploded on 9th street. supposedly there was a meth lab there, but this is just a rumor. no actual reason was given for the explosion.
*in onalaska, some teenage boy stabbed his dad and brother after he got into an argument with his father.
*in tomah, a young man apparently shot his father to death. the killer had tried to blow his brains out previously and unsuccessfully, and the picture in the paper must be awesome, although i have yet to see it.
i think that's everything. pretty crazy for a normally boring as fuck town. i guess the fact that a body wasn't found in the river this year is being made up for.
