many animals were sacrificed on the altar at sam's this weekend for the purpose of wonderful memorial day barbequeing. friday night, there was no fire or meat, but instead karaoke with adam and dylan. i wasn't going to go up until one of them did, and by the time they finally did decide to, i was completely plastered from slamming beers and vodka with pepsi in the bathroom. i did a horrific version on like a prayer, but not before adam and dylan's awesome death metal version of silent night (christmas in june, said the dj, although it's still may). saturday, we returned back to sam's for barbequed brats & etc., and today we grilled pork, shrimp and zucchini which was probably the best grilled food i've ever had. yesterday we mostly chilled until a horrible discovery in our kitchen that i won't go into detail about, but it was the catalyst for a huge cleaning spree that has taken over the greater part of our home.
now i'm just waiting for kelly to show up, and dylan to return from the video store so we can get on with our last evening of weekend-dom.
