(no subject)
i was so angry on wednesday when both the things i had been waiting for finally came in the mail and they both sucked. well, the shoes i ordered didn't suck, but they were about 3 sizes too big.. fucking clown shoes. i really, really needed a new pair of mary janes for summer so i can wear my cute skirts and such, but i have this weird thing with proportions (meaning my feet have to look bigger than they do in chucks for me to be willing to show much leg). also, the shirt i ordered off of ebay came, and it looks NOTHING like the picture, so that pissed me off; it's quite ugly, in fact. so i'm going to eventually get some fabric paint to see if i can improve it somewhat.
but yesterday made up for the woes of wednesday. i got an interview at shopko which i went to at 3:30 and i think it went really well, but i have to wait until next week to find out if i got the job. i think i did, though. i also applied for reciprocity for school, meaning i don't have to pay out of state tuition here (since i am still a minnesota resident). i filled out my fafsa, so i should be finding out how much money the government will give me soon (hopefully enough to cover my tuition in full). i also called uwl and found out that i placed in the 300's for german, meaning i get to skip right ahead to advanced german, and if i get an A or a B in it, i get all of the german credits leading up to that class. also, dylan is returning my shoes for me, so i should be getting ones that fit me soon. i am in a much better mood.
now, though, i must go downtown, deposit my last checks from perkins, and go to TC to have my transcript sent to UWL. my grades were not as good this semester as they were last, but i hope this doesn't take me off of my good academic standing at UWL. i doubt it though... i think i got like 4 B's this time. shitty, but oh well.
