I'm back to update my livejournal, gimme some love dammit!! I've missed you all and just reading up on your lj posts makes me realize how much I've missed out on. An assload of finals are in our midst yeah hah, kiss my cushy tushy, I've been studying for the last three hours save the past hour I gave to watch Top Model. Naima won like we all knew she would. I am envious of her punky hair, not a lot of people our age have the guts to pull that off.
I've been spending a lot of time to myself lately and I deeply believe I needed it because I have been a complete mess for the last three months. I'm still working but only on weekends to make room for the cramfest during the week. I've got Neiman Marcus this Saturday to look forward this weekend.
My sister just had her prom last weekend, unfortunately I missed her catwalk performance of her in her dress which I bought for her. But I was there for her directed performance recently of Aida, and I have never been so proud to have her as a sister. She did an outstanding job and they rocked Newark Memorial's ASS! Suckahs!!
okay so i decided to splurge. I'm single so I decided to indulge myself since I don't got no one to do so now. haha I kid you not. A spanking new Samsung digital camcorder with 4.14 megapix. Black BCBG pumps. A short shopping spree on clothes, and now a trip to China right after school ends on the 28th.
When I come back, it's back to Chabot to attend class for another 8 weeks and then on to a search for an internship for next semester. Also I decided to get back into the sorority thing coming in as Director of Communications. So that should be fun. Which reminds me that I need to buy a graduation gift for Blaire.
oh mmm, did i mention I have a fetish for interior decorating again? I blame the parents and their fling with the house right now. They're still working on their bathroom so my mom told me to rip the wallpaper down in my own bathroom and remodel all four walls. So I've got a new project to work on and I'm thinking bold French stripes, two mahognay framed mirrors with a sconce to separate, and sheer window treatments to bring the morning light in. Along with brass wall decor, candles, and a proper towel stand to accomodate the new toilet and the new glass doors. The slow dim lights bring a romantic atmosphere so the only thing i'd be missing is the bubble bath. oooh gives me tingles.
one more thing, I curse the clouds for bringing the rain. I was getting into this groove up getting up at 8:30, taking my car to skip the DPT checks/street cleaning, to go to the beach for a run and then head to the gym but ehhhhh.. no thanks to the heavens for combining this weather and finals together. fockers. They sure know how to heighten our torment.
Tomorrow's dinner: Potato Chip crusted salmon w/ long grained rice and corn on the cob. Fruit and yogurt for dessert.
