and, exhale.
it's over, it went just fine. I had nothing to worry about. It was pretty informal, and everyone was very collegial. Thank goodness it was a proposal defense and I was allowed to basically say "I don't know" - cause I did, a fair bit. I do have a LOT of work ahead of me.
but, my chair said to take a week or two off and then get started, which sounds like a fabulous idea!
