Hey, Baby! I thought we were pretty clear on the whole keeping poo-poo away from the mouth thing by the time you were an hour or so old! But I'm glad you know this important information.
So, the attendant had a problem with you pumping your own gas in NJ? What's weird is that I pump my own gas, because that's the only way it'll go into the tank without stopping. Not surprisingly, I have a knack for controlling the flow of the fluid from the nozzle. *lol* Not too Freudian. (The attendant where I get the gas for the Toyota is cool about it).
You should know better than to read any of my transcriptions by now. :)
Your gas station attendant had better hope that the police don't see you pumping your own gas. It's something like a $500 fine to the gas station for allowing self service.
Anyway, I try to be cool about pumping my own gas. I just let the guy know I'll do it if there are a lot of cars and not many attendants, as was the case the other day. I didn't do it at first then, but they were understaffed and the guy asked me if I really would pump my own, and then I did.
Otherwise, if there aren't tons of cars waiting for service at the pumps, I don't necessarily volunteer, now that the whole thing about fines has been pointed out to me.
Discretion is the better part of valor, but there you have it.
