So we just started Operation Quick Strike which is takin place in a city just north of Al Asad, its where the last marines died in that last bomb.
Im living in a tent on the flight line and for the last 2 nights its been non stop big ass jets and plains takin off all damn night.
Also the biggest dust/sand storm i have been here for was last night.. it was a bit loud and dirty.
Anywho, i just got off syscon watch, real boring, and im bout to take it up to the tent.
Might be movin into another tent tomorrow. Woo hoo, one tent to another, cant wait to get moved into the cans where were gonna be stayin.
Im mail clerk as well as the "do whatever stupid shit/heavy lifting stupid objects clerk" how cool?? E3 kicks ass.
Sgt field in my MOS is now frozen as of last month, and if things follow the usual pattern the Cpl wont be far behind in closing.. Looks like ill be E3 forever. Oh well least im here and doin the job i went to school for and not just sittin around doin nothing.
Oh yeah im the Help Desk guy which means i get to see all the dumb ppl and try to fix there problems.
ex. today i got an e-mail "My computer has an Error. can you fix it?"
They dont tell me anything else, not even there name rank anything. So i just responded "yes" then closed out the trouble ticket.
I mean i answered that question right? So there should be no need to keep investigating? :)
Other than that and bustin Maj's for surfin porn its not to interesting at work.. But i do like it none the less.
