I was burning out on all the angst of Tie My Hands. It was seriously bringing me down. Everyone needs some happy!
I've been playing around with the idea of watersports for a Phlochte story for a long time. But I guess in the end I couldn't quite bring myself to actually do it. ^__^
...Okay yeah, this made my day. Ryan and Mike are perfect and Ryan is such a boy and kind of a dick but I love it. “Dude. What did you think? I don’t watch the Discovery Channel.” I can only imagine the conversation that Ryan and Kyle were having that lead to this.

You absolutely should! Even though I'm pretty sure It'd be a very short, one-sided conversation because Kyle really just wants Ryan to shut up so he can keep watching the Discovery Channel in peace. Haha
This was a nice surprise! Very cute, very in-character. I can totally imagine the scenario going down much like that. The only bad part is that it really makes me consider what's in pool water - bleck!
Have you missed all the interviews with Mike where he talks about how much he (and all the swimmers) pee in the pools? I mean, with all the bleach and chemicals that they put in there... I guess it's just better to go then have to try to get out of those suits, LOL.
I've somehow missed all those! I guess I figured since they're professional swimmers and not 5-year-olds in floaties that they would actually get out of the pool, but yeah, I wouldn't want to fight with those swimsuits either, haha.
Have you seen the video where Ryan says he peed in the pool when he was six at his first heat and he ran up to his coach crying and went, "I never want to swim again!"
It's the cutest story ever. He says he was swimming wondering if "everybody knows [I'm] peeing" and all this other junk. hahaha
