Help me sell Portland.

My friends arrived from Houston last night. I promised to take them on a hike this weekend. I asked what areas they would be interested in seeing, and they replied, "Everything." They get plenty of water in Houston, so I ruled out a Coast hike. A Gorge or Mt Hood hike might work.

So if you were trying to convince someone to move to Portland, what easy/moderate hike would you take them on? And is anyone up for such a hike on Saturday?
