Personally, I'm not a fan of this pairing, especially where Hatsuharu and/or Kyou are involved, the least I'd expect is a threesome with Yuki. This fic however, changed my mind a *little* bit, even if the author claimed this to be a PWP. The dynamics between Cat and Cow was wonderfully disturbing, hot and angsty - sans the presence of the Rat. Their characters clash, the rawness stings, and as expected, they fight for the top position. In the end, neither one loses.

Albeit short, the characterization was superb (even Ayame can do with angst sometimes), and the interaction simply intense, but believable. The Dragon just hides all that fire inside, and the Snake didn't know how to make of it but realises eventually how it is to get under all that tough hide.
