[Ban/Ginji :: Angst, Fluff :: PG-13 :: Shounen Ai]
Between the two, Ban is quite the more difficult character to handle (at least, that's my personal opinion). Often in fics, he comes out either too much of a jerk that his soft spot for Ginji is forced; or his soft spot for Ginji becomes too exaggerated that we're often left wondering if he got hit too much on the head with all that fighting. Perhaps the in between of Ban's character lies in his angst. And in this fic, Northlight showed us how much of an angsting-jerk-who-loves-his-partner the Great Mido Ban-sama really is :)

Ban showing “love and affection” towards Ginji may be close to impossible - not to mention out-of-character for the standoffish and stingy Jagan Master. This short fic however, begs to differ: composed of a series of vignettes, written in an honest and candid Ginji-like manner, I was convinced that “close to impossible” can actually be a wide margin.
