What I liked best about this ficlet was the In-Character-ness (is there even such a term?) of Tsuzuki: contemplating about Hisoka while associating his emotions with sweets, cake specifically. And then the banter with Hisoka, as he tries to sort all those emotions for Tsuzuki, while he keeps his in-check... eventually leading up to some *cough* sweet foreplay.

Well, my OTP has certainly been hot office gossip ^^ and the best pasrt is, we're getting it from the most reliable source: Watari himself. It's refreshing to glance at Tsuzuki and Hisoka's "budding" relationship through the eyes of another character - more so, in their case, a friend.

Tsuzuki and Hisoka have already established their relationship in this story, so we see more of their "trials and tribulations" as a couple, as well as professional partners. Their dynamics are more subdued, since it makes for the more disturbing part which deals with Tsuzuki's past. I liked the way the author took off from one of the minor, mysterious characters and spun a terrifically believable plot. Still a work in progress, but surely, one that's highly anticipated.
