Ianto doesn't really know this Doctor that well, but he knows through talking to other realities versions of him that generally he actually quite likes him. He is quite jealous of him, though this is something he would never admit to, just because of how easily he seems to convince Jack to keep going off with him. Even if Jack does reassure him he's going to come back to Cardiff, Ianto still believes that in a way he is choosing the Doctor over him.
Coming from Torchwood London, Ianto's long learnt to think of the Doctor as his enemy. After working for Torchwood Cardiff, he's come to see him as more of an ally despite two years of being told he was an enemy of the crown. However, he does still see him as a rival. He gets very jealous of the Doctor at times, and regardless of what sort of relationship the Doctor has with Jack he worries he'll lose him to him for good.
All in all, most of his opinions are formed largely through how others think of the Doctor. He has a lot of respect for him, but mostly that's because Jack does too. Jack's respect also makes him very wary of him, and sometimes he does wish he disliked him. He doesn't though, and if he got to know him better Ianto suspects he would possibly even consider him a friend.
