Wow... it's been a while since I posted. I've been very busy lately. Work is nearing the end of it's fiscal year, so my hours have been through the roof. I tried to relax a little this weekend, but I still wound up working.
It's quite alright, I'm working from home this week. Home being Ohio, with Fen. It'll be the first time since I started (back in April) that we've had more than 2 or 3 days together at a time. It's so nice to be home, and to not have to rush out the door for an 8 hour drive. Also, I'm looking forward to rolling out of bed and working, not having to drive 35-50 minutes in and out of work.
We're actually going to spend several weeks together! I'm home this week, then he's coming to VA with me next week, and after that we're going on vacation in the OBX. It's just the break we need to get us through the last haul of our separation. My credit score is high enough for us to apply for a loan to get another house. The bills are all caught up and looking good. Now, we're just waiting until the credit cards are paid down a little bit and Fen has the time to come out and stay in VA for long enough to find us a new home.
As for the house in Ohio. The economy has yet to even consider recovering here. I won't sell the house unless i can break even, at least. So, we're looking at renting out the house once we get settled in VA. That will require us to find a management company and change our insurance, and who knows what else. I figure I'll use the companies employee assistance program to find a reliable mgt. company.
There's other news but I'm not sure I'm ready to tell it all yet. For now, I'm off to find something to snack on and continue lounging around the house with Fen and the kitties.
