i went and saw my new place last night
turns out Valentine bought a whole fucking house with 5 bedrooms.
so here is why i now don't care about leaving waukesha:
-I get my own bedroom
-I'm right by State Fair Park and a 24-hour McDs
-I'm equidistant from Waukesha, the Eastside, and Brown Deer.
-I am the only tenant not of drinking age (meaning, anyone in my house can get me booze)
-One of my roommates is a pool junkie...and they're getting a pool table in the basement by the time I move in.
-There's a little closet in the basement that I get to turn into a darkroom
-It's only $350/month....cheaper than this apartment
-I can turn my bedroom closet into a smoker's paradise....but I'm not allowed to smoke in the house.
-It's an easy drive to the roadhouse.
-I can have a cat!!! (Lauren is giving me a black kitten and if it's a girl I'm gonna name it Akasha) But the downside is, two of her roommates already have two cats each. So Akasha would make 5 cats in one house.
-It's easy to find.
I might even start packing today.
