Happy Christmas!
Okay, so I remember why I don't wear that much makeup on a regular basis. I washed my face last night. And then spent an hour when I got up in the shower, being the bane of water conservation and scrubbing and moisturizing and scrubbing and using cleansing cloths and scrubbing and moisturizing again. I'm sure it was all off WELL before the hour was up, of course... but it made my skin feel dry. Besides. I was sleepy, and the hot shower was very nice.
Had lunch with my grandmother, as is our tradition. Just me and my mother and my gramma, the women in our family. We had a big lunch, she made a pineapple upside down cake for me for dessert, we sang Christmas songs at the table and gossiped and talked. I think I might be getting something extra for Christmas, because she wants me to go shopping at some point over the next couple of days to show her the dress I want and maybe a bag. She's all pleased about my shoes - because heels are totally the key to acting like a girl. Certainly not all the other girly stuff I do. Right.
So! Home now, and just chilling out for the rest of the evening. Day #1 of long weekend #2 commences!
