Elle: Ugh, you can tell when I get bored.
Elle: I start organizing random things.
Atticus: oh dear
Atticus: like what?
Atticus: I'll entertain you.
Elle: all my LJ icons.
Atticus: ONce upon a time, there was a princess.
Atticus: And her name was Elle.
Elle: last night I re-did my tags.
Atticus: ok, if you're going to interrupt the story ....
Elle: SORRY *listens*
Atticus: right. so there was this princess, Elle.
Atticus: And she lived in a not-quite-castle, far away. She had a dog with her. But that was about it.
Atticus: Now, her beloved lived far far away too, in a not-quite-castle.
Atticus: and there were seperate and sad.
Atticus: But then one day, airline prices fell because the global economy was crashing. And her beloved said, 'why, that not-quite-castle far away is exactly where I want to be!' and she said goodbye to her butler in waiting and hopped on a big, scary plane, and soon she was at the not-quite-castle and it wasn't far away at all!
Elle: (this is an awesome story)
Atticus: And the princess was so excited to have her beloved, she tied a big pink bow on the dog (who scratched it off not five seconds later), and placed some sparkles all over the not-quite-castle, because everything needs moar sparkles (it's like a law or something)
Atticus: and then she went to the airport where her beloved was waiting. her beloved had to go through customs and she waited on the other side, where americans were allowed to stand, and no-where else, it seemed, and waited for her beloved to pass the holy line of demarcation.
Atticus: and when her beloved did? One of them screamed (hard to say which one, might have been both) and they hugged and hugged, and broke the hug only to kiss, and then hugged some more. And all the americans and people who had crossed the holy line of demarcation (and even some of the people behind it) watched the princess and her beloved exude love.
Atticus: and then (as if it couldn't get any better), the princess picked up her beloved's bags, tucked them in the car, and they hurried to the not-quite-castle, where the bow-less dog (and sparkles) waited for them.
Atticus: and as for what happened next? That's a special story, for another night, mon cherie, when you are a bit older. but I promise you, there was lots of happily ever after in the not-quite-castle, with the bow-less dog, and the princess and her beloved.
Atticus: THE END
Elle: You're the most brilliant storyteller ever, Atticus.
Atticus: I try.
chase,
