Hey, guys! So after our previous discussion about changing the Activity Check guidelines, we've decided to not change to that system, seeing how the voting ended up coming out in favor of not doing so.
However, we are still going to be making some changes based off of suggestions and alternatives given in the comments. First of all, we are going to make an effort to post the Activity Check more frequently. If things go as planned, it will be going up roughly once every month. The Activity Check will still go up without warning like it does now, but we mods will have a schedule of when we want to post them so that we can make sure to put it up as often as we're promising.
There was one thing that we thought we should have a vote on, which is if we should change the period of time that someone needs have to posted within. With our current activity check, you need to have posted within two weeks of the Activity Check going up. In other words, if an AC goes up and you haven't posted your character for two weeks prior to that, then it means that you get a strike. People expressed the feeling that this period of time was too long and that it should be shortened, so here's a poll to decide if that should be changed!
Poll Activity Check Duration
Once this gets settled, that should be the last of this Activity Check stuff, so thanks for bearing with us one last time! We'll get an AC up soon after this is settled, as well. I know that at this point it's long overdue.
One last announcement: We've decided to extend second shift by one day due to the DDoS attacks. This means that third shift will start on Wednesday rather than tomorrow.
