Does anyone know anything about what's outside this place? I mean, other than Doyleton. Since it seems like such a long trip for some people to make when they visit, I figured it might be worth finding out if there's anywhere interesting nearby that they could check out while they're here.

My roommate and I visited a town nearby once, but we'd gotten so turned around that I'm not sure how to get there from the main building. The town was pretty much in ruins -- it was creepy and old and abandoned, and pretty much everything was destroyed.

Creepy destroyed town, huh? I guess some people might like that sort of thing. Was there anything interesting there?

Just a church. I didn't get to see the inside, but not much was still standing. It was raining pretty badly, though, I might have missed something.

Okay, thanks anyway. The more suggestions I have, the better.

Uh, helpful, I guess? What direction is that in?

Wish I could tell you. I didn't exactly walk up to it.

Huh? So how'd you get there?

It seems there used to be a mining operation nearby, but it's not much for sightseeing.

Mining, huh? Any idea what or if there's other stuff around that might be interesting? Like, if it was something useful, maybe they'd like to take a look and scrounge around for interesting leftovers.

If they're into salvage, there's definitely some equipment that might be worth looking into.

Worth a shot! Thanks for the info, but do you know which direction it's in from here?

There's a nice forest. I know it's got at least one tourist attraction in it.

Really? What kind of attraction? You wouldn't know which direction it was in, would you? I mean, I can't just say 'a forest' and expect them to find it.

Like a creepy altar kind of attraction.

Forest is east from us. I'm pretty sure it's got a river flowing through it, but when I took a tour, we didn't hang around there.

Creepy altar might be worth checking out, you think? You know, so long as it's just one of those relic things. Wouldn't want to upset anyone or anything.

East with a river, thanks.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what's Doyleton?

Nah, it's okay. You must be new, right? Doyleton is the town that's near here. They take us to visit on the weekends. It's pretty small, but it's not that bad during the day.

Gee, how could you tell? Yeah, I'm a few hours new.

You say that like it is bad at night. Has anyone ever been there at night?

Hey, there's a big difference between a few hours and a few days, trust me on this one.

[There's a few pen tap marks.]

I've been there at night. Once. Wouldn't recommend it twice. The locals can get a little... aggressive? It'll probably make more sense once you've spent a night here already.

And I'm really sorry about that.
