[unsigned, but written in a blocky print recognizable to those that know him well]

Chief Prosecutor Lana Skye,

It's been a while since we last met. I suggest we take some time to compare notes. Maybe later today?

Ema doesn't recognize the handwriting, but she is being helpful anyway! scientist_skye August 20 2010, 22:57:12 UTC
Lana's lying down--the nurses said she wasn't feeling well today.

This is her sister. I can pass a message along to her if you want me to.

Goodness! That a dreadful thing to hear. I do hope she gets better soon!

Actually, this information is a bit case sensitive. Nurses wouldn't like much of what I had to say. Rather relay it in person, but since you're her sister then certainly I can trust you! Would you care to meet up later?

I do, too. I think she's just tired, so it's good that they're letting her sleep.

That depends. I don't know who you are....

Dear Lana works too hard. I'm always telling her to take a vacation. Too bad this place isn't quite that accommodating.

You probably don't remember me much. I'm a friend of hers from back in her detective days.

It surprises me not that she claims to be feeling "tired." Tired of you, most likely. A little bit of your presence does go a long way.

[The period of the last sentence strangely looks like the start of a comma, as though the author of this note were about to add the name of the original poster after it but decided against it just in time.]

[Strikeouts blacked out and completely illegible. Italicized words indicate the writing was a little shaky, as if the writer was perhaps laughing while he wrote it.]

Now hold on there Ma! There's certainly no need to go pointing fingers like we're in some courtroom. It would be nice to see some proof if you're going to start accusing people.
