...Suppose I was wondering how to fix a computer from almost nothing. Is there anyone here that excels in that particular hobby? I'd like to learn in my free time as well. It gives one something to do, after all.

Before I came here, my friend gave me a laptop and I was trying to fix it up. I wouldn't know how to go about doing so, however.

The technology's more primitive than I'm used to working with, but I should be able to repair it given the right tools and equipment, if you like.
