Bullets won't work on him. He's protected during the night and day by some barrier.

Do you know if the barrier's stationary or if it moves with him?

What the hell does it matter what he was wearing? It was the same suit that he'd had on during dayshift.

It works well enough.

It matters because the shield might be maintained by some kind of amulet or magical device.

I doubt it was something he could carry on him. There were other room wide barriers that were similar.
