I've seen the notices posted, though the details are scarce enough that I'm hesitant to commit myself to any alliances. Regardless, I'm not looking for protection. I'm looking for someone willing to help me learn to better defend myself within the limits imposed in this place so that I need not rely on others for protection.

I don't doubt that there are. I just haven't been here long enough to draw my own conclusions, and wouldn't want to find myself on the wrong side due to a mistake made in ignorance. I hope you understand that I don't mean any insult to anyone.

I'm no warrior, Prince. I don't think anything in any Realm could make me into one. I might prove a frustrating student.

No more frustrating a student then my wife was. Nearly took my head off with a frying pan the first lesson, not to mention other important bits.

I'll teach you what you need to know to survive. I don't expect you to become an Eyrien Warrior but at least you'll know how to gut anything that tries to make you it's meal.
