Xemnas once more reached the stairwell without difficulty, choosing to retrace the same steps as those he had taken earlier tonight. The area was as silent as he had left it.
The Nobody carefully began descending the stairs, keeping a watchful eye upon that which may hinder his progress. It was then that he caught something curious, something remarkable in the corner of his amber eye. When he turned his head to allow him a better look, however, there was seemingly nothing amiss.
Eyes narrowed slightly, he remained silent as aa moment passed. A trick of the flickering lights, or something else? Hmm...
The wall would not provide him with the answer he sought. Therefore, he continued.
