There was no immediate visible manner that would grant them access to the basement below; the walls and floors told them that it was a hidden one. Orange eyes watched as Erika - who had doubtlessly reached the same conclusion - indulging in solving this riddle on her own before he directed his gaze to Momo.
"The plain floors and walls tell of a hidden passage. As one who obviously knows of this route, I would assume you know its location." After all, the Shinigami had already proved to be familiar with this route. There was little reason for the Superior to join the hunt for an answer that would be granted in a different, more efficient manner.
Perhaps it would've seemed strange that his calm would be so undisturbed, but for a hollow shell it was considered irrelevant. Why display an illusion of emotion that was not truly there, held as much existence as the shell itself had?

Sliding the slightly discolored tile to the side, she revealed the trapdoor. It was pulled up, revealing a set of stairs heading down. "Stay close," she said, disappearing down the stair. They were almost there...
