Day 51: Women's Showers [Second Shift]

It said something that the showers no longer affected the Digimon to the point of panic. It spoke of the weeks she had been here, that she was gradually become neutral to the process. She was warned to be careful of the bandage over her eye--this said almost suspiciously; she would not react the same as she had a week prior. She made a motion as if

Oh god, showering. Bella loved showering - especially because she felt all gross and sticky from the blood that had been all over her nights before. However, she knew that she was clean, so she decided that it was all in her mind.

The teenager was instantly grateful that the showers appeared to be mostly empty, and she quickly took off her clothes and ran towards one in the corner, stepping under the stream of water with a long, happy sigh.

... At least until the water hit the cut on her shoulder and on her shoulder blade, and she winced, the happy sigh turning into one of defeat.

Quickly pulling off the bandage, she balled it up in her fist and dropped it onto the floor, allowing the water to run over the healing wounds, even though it stung. They had to get better sooner or later, and she could bandage herself up before Edward inevitably arrived in her room. After all, she wasn't really a fan of the whole "I have to force it open to see if there are any shards of glass stuck in it" thing, so doing it herself quickly would hopefully save herself from that fate.

Right.

Once clean, Bella stepped out of the shower, running a towel over her hair and the rest of her body before completely drying off. Putting her clothes back on, she exited the room and headed towards the Sun Room.
