Night 50: F31-F40 Hallway

A ring. Like she did with the Exsphere earlier, Rita attempted to bring up the interface that would allow her to examine the gem's properties in better detail, but it was no use. All she had to go off of was the Head Doctor's explanation, and whether that could be trusted or not remained to be seen

A ring, huh? Donna wasn't so sure she even wanted to bother looking for something like that. Ludwig probably had it, or if he didn't, it was probably the gaudiest thing she could imagine! Yet despite her thoughts on the matter, Donna found herself too curious to not at least give things a look. It wasn't long after the announcement before she was pulling open her desk drawer to see a small ring clatter to the front.

Didn't look so bad.

Of course nothing ever did until it was sucking the life from you. Donna knew X-Files, and even without that, she had seen well near enough in her travels to know that you shouldn't trust looks. It would just leave you with a headache later. Or split ends at the very least.

She wouldn't be putting the thing on any time soon, but for the moment she did snatch it from the drawer for inspection. Maybe the Doctor could have a look at it if he hadn't already gotten one himself. He was supposed to be getting there soon enough. Though now that she thought about it... had she remembered to give him her room number after all? Putting it on the board hadn't been ideal, so she'd decided to drop it by him at some point in the day. Remembering that she'd only given him looks during the movie, Donna realized that she actually hadn't given him the number in the end.

To the hallway then.
