Night 49: Game Room

[from here]

He walked right through the door and somehow managed to keep from swaying too much; an accomplishment, really, after everything he'd been through that night. He blinked the dizziness away and fought the nausea down in what was actually a rare show of stubbornness more than anything else.

The urge to slam the door behind him passed through him, but he ignored it, knowing the gesture would be too petty - more petty than he really felt like being at the moment. He was tired and irritable, and he needed some nicotine before he spontaneously combusted. Which, yes, was completely illogical, but he'd do it. Mostly to spite Mello, really.

Who... Was right behind him.

Joy.

"So you're gonna follow me like a dumbass now?" 'Cause he was sure as shit done following Mello. Glancing around, he noted that he already recognized where they were; this room had been the biggest disappointment he'd faced in quite some time. "Ah. That stupid room with the old-ass games, huh." It wasn't a question; the fact that he was voicing their location aloud was just another show of how annoyed he was at the moment.
