Day 23: Music Room, Evening Shift
"Looks like you're the first one here, Daniel."
Darman had two eyes and he could see that he was the only prisoner in here, but his female guard seemed to like stating the obvious - perhaps her way of controlling the situation - and today was no exception. Maybe it's an Earthian thing, Darman thought. The Earthians he had met so far did seem to share a knack for it. He couldn't tell yet if it was frustrating or not.
It had been a while since he was last here, but he definitely remembered the "CD player" that Claire had shown him the other day. Wandering into the room, Darman pulled a CD player and a casette player to himself, sitting cross-legged on a couch as he examined them both. Really too bad he didn't have Atin's preference for pulling apart technology; he had a feeling his fellow squad brother would have had a field day with these.
