Larxene seemed pretty cavalier about it judging from the way she just talked about this - there weren't any hysterics, no threatening that I'm gonna call my lawyer, and, if anything, she just seemed to be simply annoyed with the inconvience of it all. She actually reminded him a bit of Inara, in that aspect, only with a lot more edge and sarcasm, and not quite the same amount of curves. She didn't seem like the typical civilian.
Brock wished he had that same kind of confidence, but when it felt like his balls had been cut off (thanks to his poor symbiote's weakened state), it was pretty damn difficult to act like this was just a mere distraction. Landels was responsible for making him - them - less then what they were meant to be.
"They probably are, but there's also the fact that there's people here who don't have these abilities," Brock said. He didn't bother to clarify if he was one of those people or not. "Maybe they just picked people out at random and use those experiments to test them, I don't know..."

It wouldn’t be fear, or distress, though. Why would anybody be afraid of a little sudden change of scenery? It was anger, over the loss of her abilities. However, she supposed that a good that everybody else had been put through the same limitations.
It would’ve been very bad if she had been the only one in the Organization subjected to such a change. Especially when her (planned) betrayal had become common knowledge among the members…
