He opened the door he was shown to, stepping inside... to find himself in a room with several strange machines and a weird odor - some sort of odd chemical and fabric

A bit of dizziness accompanied the movement through the door, and that was... worrying. It was just a little bit too close to what it had felt like when her hold on her body was slipping. Wrong.

Still, unlike that, it was over as soon as she'd registered it, replaced by the new sensations of an oppressive damp heat and the low rumbling of machines. "This is not where we were," she announced.

Recluse felt unaccountably disoriented again, but he held himself still until the sensation passed. "And where we were before was not the room that should have been there. If we want to get to somewhere useful, we should continue to try the door." Of course that also increased the chance of a monster attack, but Recluse didn't care. If this ended with blood on his hands, so much the better.

"Yeah, thanks, Recluse, that hadn't occurred to me." It was just possible that between the missing roommate, the ridiculously unpredictable doors, and the terrifying disorientation, Agatha was not in the mood to be advised on things that were really quite obvious unless they wanted to spend all night in a room full, on closer inspection, of dirty laundry.

"If we're continuing in that vein, then I won't insist on ladies first," Recluse replied with a healthy dose of answering sarcasm, turning back towards the door and opening it once again, striding through to gods only knew where.
