[From

Though he'd not been to the blocks where the women resided (the nurse wouldn't allow him to even go near that hall, and he had an inkling why), he had a vague idea of their whereabouts. He only hoped he could find her room quickly- in the event she was still within

Too few people were out - or perhaps it was just early. Either way, it was unsettling, and the faster Endrance was where he meant to be, the better. He rounded the corner into the next block, feeling his heart speed up anxiously as he did.

Gant was glad his room was right next to the door that led out of the patient's block. He still wasn't familiar with the facility at large, but when your door was right next to the block exit, it wasn't hard to put two and two together.

There were a few patients wandering around at the edges of the light that Sora's flashlight cast, but not many so far. With the sound of thunder punctuating the relative silence of the hallway, Sora realized that he was actually kind of nervous. There was nothing more to be scared of than usual, but he just had this feeling that things had been going smoothly for too long. Mr. Landel always wanted to try something new out on them, and Sora felt like tonight was the perfect time for it.
That only made him more concerned that he didn't know what his two friends were up to, but both of them were experienced enough with danger to handle themselves if bad things started to happen. Sora had to keep his faith in them. Even if they weren't together, their thoughts for each other would motivate them to keep fighting, but to also stay safe.
Having done a decent enough job of chasing his anxiety away, the boy continued on his way out of the block.

Klavier stepped out warily into the hallway, pipe out before him like a bat. ...What the heck was he doing with that thing? Look at him. Honestly, what was he going to do should he get attacked, beat someone with it? He couldn't do something like that, and he knew it. Nevertheless it provided some sense of reassurance as he walked through the dark corridor.
Strangely enough... the harsh pattering of rain outside was more calming than one might have thought. Rumbles of thunder aside, it was still something. It solidified his sense of self and made his surroundings more tangible, more manageable. Had this evening been it's usual stark quiet, Klavier might have just lost it completely and curled himself into a ball all night. When it was absolute quiet like that, nothing felt real. Everything was distant and unpredictable. He hated that feeling more than anything.
