Okay, the whole "the place gets creepier at night" bit seemed a bit farfetched when Kagura told her about it, but she certainly didn't seem like the type to make up weird stories. When the intercom clicked on again after the lights went out, though, Minako found herself a little more willing to believe. The way the man's voice went from normal-kinda-smarmy to creepy-and-threatening reminded her more than a little of certain people she'd encountered in the past, people who'd seemed entirely normal and boring until they turned around and tried to suck out someone's soul or whatever. Clearly this was the kind of situation that required the intervention of a fighter for love and justice, but...where did she need to go?

The only thing to be done was to head out and explore for herself. Maybe she couldn't transform. Maybe she didn't have any of the other senshi here to help her out. But she couldn't just do nothing, and transformation or not she was still Sailor Venus. From what she'd seen of her roommate Minako suspected that Kagura might argue about her heading off on her own, so she decided to head that off and make sure it couldn't happen.

As soon as the lock clicked on the door, Minako snatched up her flashlight and practically bolted out the door, calling a cheerful farewell over her shoulder. She could apologize tomorrow for the hasty departure. Right now she had things to do.

After giving Minako the basics, Kagura was almost shocked at how quickly the girl ran out of the room once the doors unlocked. It was as if she was anxious to get herself hurt, or worse! It would be downright awful if Kagura found herself with another new roommate come tomorrow.

She took a little longer gathering her things before she headed out. No one had answered her bulletins, not Ritsu, not Bridget, not even Haine or Badou. At least Brainy was ok, but... it worried her that so few of her friends and even family were responding.

Was it better to go it alone? Or should she stay in for the night? She hesitated a moment at the door, flashlight in hand. But the thought of Bridget or Ritsu going it alone or trying to, was enough to spur her on.
