"Ah, I know, um...well, Sakura-san?" The shinigami absently rubbed the back of his neck with one hand as he considered. "I don't know about hitting anyone, though."

He was pretty sure he hadn't see Sakura today, or last night either, and didn't really have the slightest idea where to start looking for her. How exactly he was supposed to help the stranger find her when he wasn't even sure they were talking about the same Sakura, he had no idea. But he didn't want to object or anything, lest he offend the boy. Getting dragged into other peoples' business seemed to happen to him quite a bit lately.

Scott shook some of the rain off himself when they got inside, not caring much that he was getting water on some of the window displays. The rain still felt real enough. Everything around him did. His whole freaking life had. And yet all signs continued to point to his fictionality (was that a word? it was now) in flashing neon colours. And to Keman's, for that matter. Right, the books, he thought.
"Yeah, I'm really betting that you're from some fantasy series or another. I just have no idea which one, so maybe you can help me out. If you were to give a title to your own life, what do you figure it'd be?" he asked as they wandered aimlessly into one of the store aisles.

So Keman didn't know what "fantasy" meant? This was going to be tougher than he expected. He sighed as they walked, wiping some wet hair off his forehead. "I just... I had a talk with someone just now," he started explaining, shoving his hands in his raincoat pockets. He was silent for a bit, not quite sure how to continue. "You know how in my world, there isn't really so much in the way of real 'magic' like there is in yours, right?"
