If there was one thing that was annoying, it was locks. It wasn't that they weren't easy to pick, because most times they were. From the careful examination of the one right in front of him, for instance, Venom would be able to unlock it just fine. The problem was that he had none of the tools to actually pick said lock and therefore needed to do it the hard way.
They just always made so much noise when you broke the handles. It was inconvenient, noisy, and made sneaking about in the shadows that much harder when you had to beat a door into submission.
The lock eventually gave way with a loud crack, unable to handle the repetitive blows from the makeshift cue. Still, as much as it gave away his location, he was that much closer to his goal. Just left and in the first door of this hallway...

With a sigh, the assassin again positioned the end of the wooden hanger bar against the handle of this new door. Somewhere, Martin Landel was snickering at him. That was fine. He could have fun underestimating him for now.
