While the prospect of loitering in the hallway he had just passed was tempting (just what was the Keybearer and his friends up to?), X was officially timing himself out of lack of anything else to do. There was no one to speak with, nothing to look at, no cards in his possession, but Time would never abandon. She was always there

The gathering point outside the double doors was deserted. No, not deserted. Anticipating. Waiting. She had made decent time.
Speed didn't require abandoning strategy. Taura paused, and swung her flashlight through the doors. No silent battle in pitch darkness. Which wasn't likely to begin with, but space habits were hard to break. The doors to the other rooms were all closed, and balconies appeared clear of snipers. If it was a trap, it was well-laid. The only way to find that out would be to spring it. Let them see that she was no little mouse.

Meandering slowly away from the crowd of people near the stairwell, Tylor was surprised that things seemed to thin out closer to what seemed like the center of the Institute. Did people just not bother, having gone there by day enough already? Were people inclined to shoot at other people there? Was there any chance of finding a coffee machine or something with alcohol in the kitchen behind all of the cafeteria counters?
And what was past that, and why wasn't anyone going there? Tylor had never been down those halls either, although he'd seen other patients going down. Balancing his arms behind his head, he thought it over for a moment.

While there was one other patient around, it was only one, strangely enough. Sora was used to this area being just as crowded as the one they'd just come from, so it was a bit of a shock. Was there some reason for it? Normally he wouldn't have worried so much, but things changed when he had Kairi and Riku with him.
"There's usually someone or something really dangerous in the Sun Room," Sora said back toward Riku. His friend had probably already heard all about it, but he wanted to make absolutely sure that he was ready. "There's no telling what it will be, so just be prepared, okay?"
Sora didn't think that Riku had actually gotten the chance to bring out his Keyblade here, but this might be the time for it. Which wasn't exactly a good thing, but it was going to happen eventually.

Silence. That was never a good sign.
Surely there had to be something in there. If there wasn't, that would have been even worse, hadn't it? That meant that there would be something in the cafeteria, or even further down. Either way, would they be able to make it through the room unscathed? Chances were if there was something unbeatable they would run and most likely make it, but still. Even though Kairi knew that her friends could fight and take care of themselves extremely well, she still worried about them.
Gripping tightly onto her sword, the once princess clicked off her flashlight and shoved it into her pocket, figuring they didn't need to draw any more attention to themselves then they were probably already going to get. "Ready?"

Taking a cue from Kairi, the boy turned off his flashlight and then slowly started for the door to the Sun Room. From what he could tell, it was dark in the there. Dark and quiet. That wasn't normal, which just made him more concerned.
Not that he would ever back down just because he was a little anxious. Riku would never let him live it down. He nodded to both of his friends and then led them into the room.

Picking up momentum, Sho accelerated down the hallway, hand truck banging around behind him as he did. It sounded like there was something reacting in the Sun Room, but that kind of outlier didn't even register for him. His goal was set for the supplies tonight - he could triangulate the location of something to inflict the product of his formulas upon later.

Finally, a hallway that wasn't so busy. There were still a couple of other people going about their business nearby, but the crowd had definitely thinned.
Prussia picked up his pace now that there was less worry about literally running into someone, and it wasn't long before he reached the door to the sun room. There was another door across from it that he briefly considered, but he decided to stick with familiar territory for the time being. Even if he didn't check out the kitchen, there had to be another door leading outside in this direction.
