So far, so good. Kairi tried to move as quietly as she could, not wanting to attract any kind of baddies that could be lurking in the shadows. ... And lest she forget actually crazy patients. Then again, she doubted she'd ever forget that incident.
Oh well, she was almost there. No time to think about past injuries.

He left the male block quickly and headed out into the Institute proper. He didn't have a particular aim in mind, but he did think that heading upstairs would be a good bet. It had been implied that there would be more things which could be used as weaponry. He'd take a crudely carved club at this point, hell, a butter knife would be better than nothing.
Maybe.
Alright, he wanted something better than a butter knife.
There had been an influx of new patients today apparently and as he approached the bearded man in the corridor, noting the slightly bemused expression on his face. It was easy enough to get lost in and there was always the chance that he might just have woken up as Ronixis had on his first night.
"Are you looking for somewhere in particular?" he asked genially, slowing down as he approached.

Mihai hoped they weren't going to get worse.
"Yes. I was trying to get to the kitchen." Mihai moved his flashlight over the person, enough to see that he was wearing the same patient uniform. Hopefully that meant he wasn't one of those brainwashed aggressors. "But I think I made a wrong turn somewhere. You wouldn't happen to know which way I should be going?"

Having awakened in the middle of the night, Scar had little time to make any plans. There had been little opportunity to arrange something during the day that way, which forced him to once again rely on randomly running into other patients that may or may not be trustworthy. But he knew quite well what had happened the last time he had ventured towards the second floor on his own, and he definitely wasn't going to head for the basement without any meat shields allies. Well, perhaps he could find some poor fool to serve such a purpose. Hopefully not one that decided he'd make splendid life bait, however.
A part of him argued he might have to spend his days in a more useful manner, but another part of him knew that that wasn't so easy. Half of these humans were practically useless with their small talk and their lack of brain capacity; it was difficult enough to endure these idiots during the day, much less asking them to accompany him during the night. And limiting interaction with those that were worth the trouble was ( ... )

The kitchen seemed an odd place to be trying to get to, but Ronixis wasn't going to question it. He didn't exactly have a plan in mind himself after all. A goal put this guy one step ahead already.
"I have some idea of how to get there," Ronixis replied with a nod. "Are you new here?"
