[For Yuna!Fish and chips weren't his favorite thing ever, but he did make sure to eat it all. He just liked to think of the fish as the Filet'o Fish without the bun and it made it easier to eat. The french fries had been pretty well cleaned off and he'd even managed a bit of fruit, although he avoided the oranges and other sour things his nurse

As he looked up at Yuna, he began to think that she might do the same thing if they'd been friends in another time and another world.
His eyes followed her arm when she shifted it and he frowned. Something was wrong with it and she wasn't saying anything. He couldn't really call her on that since he was doing the same thing, but he was still curious. And maybe a little worried, too. Shaking his head, Ritsuka moved his bookmark to the new page and closed the book, setting it aside. Then he motioned to the other side of the sofa, offering her a seat. "No, I've read it before. Your arm okay?"

Worried, she glanced again at the arm he'd stuck behind his back as she moved to take a seat. Mmm...should she mention it? Probably...not; some people would try to carry injuries stoically all by themselves, and Yuna had always found it easier not to fight them about it. There was a difference between being the healer they went to, and...well, cases like this, where she was kinda nagging, pretty much. And Ritsuka didn't look to be in any serious pain, which she could hope was because his injury wasn't serious. Even if she didn't like the thought that he was going out at night, apparently, because, well, what could she do? Fiends were...indiscriminate. And Ritsuka had already said he was okay, so...no asking again.
"What is it about?" she asked as she leaned back into the cushion...ness, gesturing to the book. It looked a little strange, like it was held together differently than the books she was used to, but a book...was a book! "Is it fun?"

So she'd gone out last night then. Whatever had hurt her enough to want to avoid the subject, Ritsuka wasn't going to pry anymore than he already had. He knew what it was like to fend off unwanted questions and other than checking that Yuna wasn't seriously hurt, he was done pushing. He didn't want to seem like a busybody or anything. "Well, good luck taking care of it then. Hopefully it heals up soon."
There. That sounded nice and...something. Concerned? Something or other. He had no idea. Ugh, he hated it when he didn't know what to say.
Thankfully, Yuna turned the topic toward something he did know about and he showed the book to her. He wouldn't call The Divine Comedy fun reading, but it was interesting and so he went with that as his answer. "It's a classic epic poem from my world. A man named Dante travels to the underworld in a journey of symbolic religious purification. He travels through each level of Hell, then Purgatory, until he reaches Heaven and finds his path back to God." Ritsuka shrugged, showing that he found it interesting as a work of literature rather than a book of religion. "This is the book about Hell. It wasn't always highly regarded, but it's inspired so many artists in their work, and other writers in their books, that it's impossible to ignore the cultural significance of--"
He stopped as he realized he'd been rambling on about his thoughts like he was giving a book report. Dropping his gaze, he flushed slightly and then shrugged. "...So yeah, I guess it can be fun if you like reading that sort of thing."
