Even though Sora had walked down this hallway what felt like countless times, tonight was different. Tonight he wasn't in that same old smiley-faced uniform, but in the clothing he was meant to wear.
It made him feel like he should have his Keyblade in hand; like he should be taking down Heartless left and right with Donald and Goofy at his side. While it was nice to relive those memories in a way, it also made him wish that he could still be living that sort of life, rather than being stuck in this place where he couldn't even do his duty as the Keyblade Master.
While the Heartless were all supposed to be taken care of at this point, Sora couldn't help but wonder if they had somehow come back and were now destroying worlds without him there to take care of them.
Still, there wasn't anything he could do about that except try his hardest to get out of this place. The basement could easily be the key to open that door, and so he made his way out of the patient block and toward the meeting spot with an extra amount of determination in his step.
