Well... at least no one was screaming this time. But the night had just started so Asuka wasn't holding her breath. Last night's paranoia to remain hidden and quiet in the dark had been efficiently squelched, impatience and overconfidence unfortunately overpowering her tactical training. Besides, after the day she just had "getting to

It was quiet; good. Hopefully that meant she was making decent time. Taura padded down the hallway at a gentle jog, her flashlight bobbing in rhythm. A careful observer might catch it flashing up each hall in turn, though her head never turned.

As she passed by the girls' washroom, Anise found herself being reminded of Sync's ambush earlier that week. It was an ugly memory, but it made her wonder what the God-General was up to now. Was he back to his usual self? If he was, then another ambush could come at any time, to her or any of her friends.
Knowing that, Anise realized she couldn't afford to hang around alone for long. Without knowing what Sync was doing or when he might strike, the best thing she could do was try not to make herself an easy target.

You either got it or you don't.
And Alkaid felt like she had everything right now, walking down the hall in this familiar yet strange outfit. This body was obviously used to it, but she'd never worn anything like it before. She felt like she was cosplaying, though she knew how often she'd seen it before while running around countless maps with everyone. Luca and Mika... Sirius... Haseo...
By the time she arrived where she was going (Badou had slipped her a note a little earlier with the room number, and she'd nodded fearlessly) she'd have to look and feel comfortable in this thing. If she didn't, she'd just have to do a damn good job of acting. Which could be dangerous.
The hallways were creepy, as usual, and the doors were already open. People had passed through here earlier tonight.
And Alkaid would, too. She kept going.

Oh, there we go. This end opened up onto a new hallway! Although, why did this feel familiar for some reason...?
...Oh yeah, last night. Was she really here last night? Hadn't Ritsuka said something about fiends coming out at night? Yuna shone the light carefully around.
She hadn't found Rikku or Paine last night either, and she hadn't seen them all day.... Um, maybe they were...delayed or something! Although, that would be a little terrible.
Still thinking, Yuna stepped through the doorway near her.
