Heh, tonight was promising to be kind of interesting. First time in awhile, it seemed like, for which Xigbar was far too happy to give things a shot. That in mind, he stripped off that aggravating gray shirt and started grabbing his weapons, making sure that they were all okay. Three knives lashed to his ankles, three arrows tied around his waist,

"The injury has healed, and I'm no longer in a sling or a cast, but it's left some scarring. Ironically, I now carry a scar in the same place as he does," he added, pointing to his shoulder. He could get the gist of the situation just from those few clues. Gumshoe had been in the medical wing for quite a while, and Franziska had gotten to him first. That would explain the frantic pace.
"I take it that my dear sister explained what happened? And...actually, I should give you a debriefing on the entire situation. They got to Ph-- I mean Wright a few nights ago as well, taking him for one of those 'sleep studies'. I didn't get there in time, but close enough. "I hope that I will never have to use this. But it's there if he tries again," Edgeworth said, gesturing to the blade with his free hand. He didn't want to have to keep such a thing, but if such things were necessary....then so be it.

He made an incoherent sound when Mr. Edgeworth took a weapon out of his closet. Th-that wasn't what he'd meant. He leaned away from the blade, obviously surprised. "Sir! Where did you get that?"
The detective continued to frown. He hoped Mr. Wright was okay... He'd have to go check on him tomorrow. It was the least he could do, after what he had done for Mr. Edgeworth. "Does that mean he can channel spirits now, too?" About Ms. von Karma... "I agree."
