He slipped Minato's Persona device into his gun holster and fastened the snap tightly over it. Giving it back to him seemed to be the honest thing to do but Abe couldn't resist feeling very wary about handing all that power back to the boy when he could so easily be turned against the rest of the inmates. Abe had felt no duplicitiousness in Minato when he'd investigated his mind, but he was so weak now that Minato could have easily hidden it under that mass of monstrosities. Perhaps he should have taken an ally with him, like Edward--perhaps he could trust no one here. It was so unsettling not to know the nature of others. How could anyone go through life not knowing...anything?
