here]Oh, so this was the hall he needed to be in. At least, he was pretty sure it was the right place. If he remembered right, the man on the bulletin board talking about Search and Rescue, his name was Phillip Hunt. If there were only two people in a room, though, it shouldn't be too hard finding him

No. It would be. Yue was certain of that, or so he told himself.
As he started to push to his feet, though, intending to retrieve the items they'd collected from their hiding place in the closet, the guardian abruptly froze in place. Something was...different. Wrong? No. Wait, not wrong but, somehow...right.
The lock on the door clicked open but Yue didn't notice. Light flared at his back, taking shape and stretching out like wings - and then the light vanished but the wings stayed, great white-feathered wings which the guardian abruptly had to draw in lest they take up far too much space in the small room. Wings that he'd sorely missed for the last two weeks and now, suddenly, had appeared without him willing it.
It left him alternately pleased to have them back at last, having been displeased at the lack of two of his limbs for all that time, and once more irritated at the way those in charge of the Institute toyed with them so. His ability to shift forms had already been taken from him, and now he was being taunted with the presence of his wings. Although in his distraction and muted delight, he'd also managed to completely forget the presence of another in the room at the moment.

"...Yuki..." No. He knew that wasn't right, not right now. "...Yue?" Trite as it was, Andrew pinched himself, to make sure he wasn't just dreaming, even if he couldn't remember falling asleep. Even if he was still sitting at his desk.
What in God's name...

"Yes?" he replied calmly, as though none of this was at all out of the ordinary. It wasn't, for him. And he'd no interest in playing games; Andrew might have given in to the Institute's lies, but he saw no reason to indulge him as Yukito had. There was far too much to be done.

His roommate had just grown fucking wings. Even for a nuthouse this was insane.

He merely stepped over to the closet and pulled out the sword and shield they'd retrieved from previous expeditions to the basement, hefting one in each hand with a frown. They seemed entirely useless, to look at them. Hopefully this really would work as it was supposed to.
Before leaving, though, he paused to frown at "Andrew" once more. "I'd suggest that you stay here tonight," he observed, eyes narrowing. Not that he particularly cared, of course. Because he didn't.

...was all this for real?
He jerked, surprised, as Yue addressed him. "...then where the hell are you going?" he blurted out. Stupid...

"Out," was all he replied, before heading out into the hallway. His attempt at a dramatic entrance was somewhat spoiled by the fact that he had to slow down and carefully work his way through the door with his wings close-furled against his back, but soon enough he was on his way.

Hopefully Ken's room hadn't changed. Hopefully he was still there and still alive and unharmed. Hopefully he was fast asleep and then Yohji wouldn't need to punch 'Andrew' if he started being a prick again.
Hopefully he remembered that he was Ken.
He took a breath, steeling himself, before he reached out and knocked at the door lightly. "Ken? Yo, Ken. It's Yohji." He wasn't using the names from this place, he refused to.

What in God's good name was going on here? Was everyone...were they right?
No, that couldn't be. It just couldn't. He was Andrew, dammit. And all this wasn't happening.
He was tempted to ignore the knock. But if the door was open, Yohji'd just come in anyway. Maybe if he got into bed quickly enough, he could pass off as asleep, and Yohji would just go away.
"...yeah," he finally responded, moving toward the door, feeling slow and heavy with reluctance and disbelief. "I'm coming."
For once, today, Andrew didn't correct the use of that name. It really wouldn't do any good at this point.

He leaned against the door frame, arms folded across his chest as he waited for the door to open. Once it did, he peered at Ken. Yeah, this wasn't Ken. This was that other person who Yohji refused to acknowledge. "Believe me yet?"

He backed up and made to close the door in Yohji's face. He'd probably feel bad about doing so later, but he just did not want to deal with this, hallucinations or not.
[ooc: argh holidays ate me. D:]

He moved quickly when ken tried to close the door, slipping forward just enough to keep it from closing.

It had to be. None of this was actually happening.
"And since you obviously don't fucking like me when I'm something approaching sane, why are you still around?"
[ooc: At least Ken won't have to be tagging around slowing you down when Yohji goes to whap Cliff upside the head!]

No, he vanished. Completely and utterly, like he was never even there.
[getting dragged here. Have fun with that, Yotan. :D]
