Night 45: F31-F40 Hallway

Oh thank god.

The moment the voice over the intercom sounded, Bella breathed in a sound of relief - and then simultaneously breathed out a breath of dread. The lights shut off, and everything was washed in a thick darkness, causing her to blink her eyes for a moment as she tried to reclaim at least a little sight.

Yuna's first thought was that it was dark. It was really, seriously dark. Yuna opened her eyes wide and blinked a few times, but it weren't her eyes that were the problem. ...Probably.

As she sat up, her hand swept backward and hit something. Turning, Yuna fished her accidental discovery out from under the pillow. A tube of some sort? She ran her hands along it and jumped when it flickered. No, it was...a light. An odd light, focused in one direction.

...Mysterious. Yuna aimed the light around, but didn't recognize her surroundings. Even to Yuna, who'd traveled a lot, this was very, very foreign.

And that rectangular thing in the wall was probably a doorway. Jumping out of bed, Yuna went over and examined it. No panel to open it...she cautiously touched the door and pushed. Did it just bounce? Yuna discovered a crack between the wall and door and managed to wedge her fingers into it and nearly hit herself on the head when she pulled it toward her. Ow.

Yuna cautiously peeked out. Seeing nothing, she pulled the light around the doorway and aimed it around. Seeing nothing but walls, Yuna stepped out.
