Beatrix barely noticed that her roommate had never shown up. Her and Daphne had spoken so little, she could honestly say she didn't care. Her concerns were with who she might get saddled with this upcoming night or if she'd be given the privilege of being in a single room for a while. It would be nice, that's for certain

The girl's room was only a hallway over, so reaching it was fairly quickly this early in the night. There were few out, which was a boon considering how much room Teresa took up in the hallway with the half-bedframe across her back.
Once at the girl's door, Teresa knocked. Euphy wasn't expecting her, but that didn't mean the girl wouldn't be grateful to see her. Teresa just wanted to make sure the girl was reasonably intact before she went to find something to do.

The other princess in the room answered the door, peering out cautiously as she opened it just a crack. She opened it the rest of the way when her flashlight revealed the towering form of Teresa standing there.
"Good evening, Teresa," she said coolly, not sure what to make of this visit. She hadn't given any indication of her room number when they had spoken before, so how had she found her? She knew the warrior had a way to track down demons, but she had implied that Hime hadn't qualified as one, so then... coincidence? Was she here for Euphemia? "Imagine meeting again so soon."
A slight smirk coming to her face, she stepped back to let the woman in, mostly because it seemed like a poor idea to stand in the way of someone who was almost half a foot taller than her and appeared to be carrying part of a bedframe, presumably as a weapon.

"Imagine that," the tall warrior said, her lips curling up in the faintest of smiles.
Her eyes then moved beyond the blonde to the pink-haired girl. She was already starting to brush past Hime when the girl stepped back to admit her entrance, the movement clarifying which of the residents she had arrived to see.
"We met at lunch," Teresa answered. Halfway across the room, she paused and looked back over her shoulder at Hime. "Are you doing anything worthwhile this night?"

It seemed Hime's guess was right and her roommate was the reason for the visit. The question was an interesting one though, not in and of itself but of what it implied.
"Ideally, yes," said the Royal, a bit rueful as she recalled the previous night. "Though the specifics are still negotiable. I've no plans to meet anyone, but venturing out alone doesn't seem advisable in this place."

"No, I wouldn't think so. I...I think I'm going to actually stay in tonight, try and get some sleep. I'm not a fighter by nature, and I don't want to run into anything I can't handle," she said.
...never mind she'd just cry herself to sleep. But the freedom to do that was something she wanted.

"It is wise to travel with another," Teresa commented. "Should you wish to accompany me, I plan on heading to the far side tonight. Though my destination is far from set in stone."
The warrior's hand came up to undo the tie holding her weapon to her back, the metal object clanking onto the floor where she laid it. She then sat down on Euphemia's bed. "You should stay inside, Euphy," she said to the girl. "Today has been... intense, I am sure, for you."

"That sounds like a plan I can agree with," said the Royal with a smile, even if she would rather change the order of who was accompanying who. Again, small details not worth getting worked up over.
As Hime picked up the aforementioned knife, she took note of the other two. Perhaps she'd give them time to talk, seeing as that was likely why Teresa had come here to begin with.
"I'll meet you out in the main hallway; perhaps I can enlist another pair of hands," she said before heading out the door.

She looked down at her hands, and couldn't help imagining them stained deep red with blood. "I did everything that Rolo said I did. And I died afterwards. It was the only way to stop everything, but..."
Euphemia began to cry softly as she continued. "The worst part is that my own flesh and blood, my brother, the one who - unintentionally - caused all of this didn't remember it. He gave into this place's lies. Why did he...why did he do that?"

Oh. That explained why something seemed amiss this morning, she thought.
Turning to fully face the girl, Teresa took Euphy's hands in her own, for a brief moment fascinated by the difference between them. "I don't think he had a choice in the matter. I spoke with him at breakfast and something had seemed off. Now I know." A pause. "You aren't being very clear. Who told you what?" Suzaku, most likely given the girl's sobbing this morning, but she did not want to let her own opinions on the matter color her assumptions.

That didn't change the fact that having Lelouch just brush all that off stung far, far more than it should have. "Lelouch didn't even know what I was talking about. He tried to act like it was all a lie."

While she waited for the girl to formulate and answer, and while her own mind was putting pieces together, Teresa pulled Euphy to her. The girl was crying again, and just like before, Teresa would be something solid for her.

She wrapped her arms around Teresa, trying not to cry, but that much was hard.

The warrior rest her hand on top of Euphy's head. "Perhaps it is a fleeting moment, like the other instances of brainwashing this place practices."
