The plans for the evening had been set. There would be additional protection for Sakura, even if it did little to make Yue less concerned about her; in fact, it mostly just added another person for him to worry about as well. But, still, more help was better than none, and it might make Touya and Sakura feel better.

Once they reached the room Yue subsided again, allowing Yukito to examine the dinner offering with some pleasure. The other food was good, of course, but this was more familiar and he was glad to see it. He settled down at the desk and started in on his food, resolutely ignoring the way that his other self was brooding darkly over the night's plans.

Well, it had been something of a long day. Andrew couldn't say that he wasn't happy it was almost over as he was lead back to the room he shared with Yukito. He was exhausted, and his head ached unpleasantly. He was definitely ready for dinner, then bed. Even if he'd rather be sleeping at home...

He smiled and waved at his roommate in greeting before heading over to his desk. Even though the nurses had scolded him for sharing his food, well...he wasn't going to eat all of it, and Yukito always ate like he was half-starved, so. He took half of it over before settling down to eat what remained on his own plate.

Yukito brightened visibly when Ken entered, lifting a hand in a wave of sorts toward his roommate as he chewed and swallowed his latest mouthful of food. Oh, good, a distraction. Something to help keep him from paying attention to the sheer amount of gloom emanating from Yue at the moment. And? More dinner. Always welcome.

"Glad to see you're feeling better, Ken-san," he observed, once his mouth was clear enough that he could speak without being horribly impolite. "You've been sleeping a lot lately. I was worried you were sick."

"Actually, I'm feeling better than I have in a long time." Andrew smiled, glancing over at his roommate. Wondering how he'd react. Would it be as badly as Aya and Yohji had?

There was really only one way to find out.

"...it's Andrew, though. Not Ken."

...ah. Well, he'd gone the entire day without actually speaking to any of the so-called "cured" patients that he'd heard about, but apparently things had changed. Yukito blinked once, then just nodded and returned his attention to his food once more, outwardly not terribly concerned by the revelation.

Inwardly, though, he had to admit he was worried. Ken had been a good friend since he'd first arrived here, and it was a little disappointing and worrying both that now he was believing himself to be someone else. Was he about to leave, too, just like the people who'd already vanished?

"Okay, Andrew-san," he replied, agreeably enough. "Why the change?"

Andrew shrugged. "Honestly...I'm not sure what brought it on. I just...woke up this morning and realized what was going on." It was the best way he could explain it. Just...a revelation, it seemed.

"I'm not complaining...this is who I am after all. And no offense, but I'd kind of like to go home."

If someone could just suddenly wake up one day and have given in to the lies the Institute told them, how long would it be until that happened to him? Or Touya? Or Sakura? Was that what had happened to the Sakura who'd been here before, or any of the other people Yukito had met who were now gone?

None of them had walked around for a day believing themselves to be their false personas, though - they'd just been there one day and gone the next, with nothing in between. This change was more than a little disturbing, and they had to wonder if it was something Landel was doing just to worry those who hadn't been affected by it. A sign of his power over them, perhaps?

Yukito pushed that aside and just smiled, as he finished up his food. "I think most of us feel the same way, Andrew-san. I would like very much to go home, too."
